Blizzard 2013

Wow!!!  It is amazing out there!  I wish I could upload some pictures - need to figure out how to do that.  Only one car can get down the road - and down the side road not one car can get down the road.  I'm not even sure how we are going to tackle the huge task of getting out.  We can not open one door of our house.  The snow drifts are easily over 3 feet!  UGH - I love New England....but not winters like this!

A Long Week

Even with an early dismissal at the beginning of the week, and delay at the end of the week - it felt like the week would never end!  I think we are all a little tired of the weather (according to our class weather graph the sun was only out twice in January).  It is either too cold to go outside, or raining.  Plus it is assessment time.  The poor kids are taking assessments in math, reading, writing, sight words and sounds.  I am tired of giving the assessments and would like to get back to our regular schedule.  But I have at least one more week to go!  My class did fill the Sparkler jar, so we are having an ice cream/dance party on Monday - that should raise everyones' spirits.

Despite the long week, CJ is having a good week.  He was asked to be in Uncle P's wedding - in typical CJ fashion his response was, "Fine!"  He even went with Daddy to get measured for the tux!  That's progress!!
