Exercise

I happen to be one of those people who love to exercise, although you wouldn't know it by looking at me :) I just don't have the time to, I know that's a poor excuse..but it's true. Anyway, I am trying to get it in somehow. It certainly is hard with the weather being the way it is. So, I went out shopping with a friend last week and I bought Michael Jackson's Thriller album - it is the 25th anniversary. It turns out, my three old loves the music. He starts dancing around, so I join him! I am trying to get CJ to want to listen every other night, so we can dance and that will be my exercise. Here's hoping!

Napping

It's not often that I get the chance to take a nap, nor does my 3 1/2 year old nap anymore. This past week I was off from work. We have recently potty trained CJ, and this week he decided that he wanted to also be potty trained through the night. He woke up at about 6 each morning scraming, "I have to go pee pee!!". Then I couldn't get him back to sleep. He continued with the same night time rountine, going to bed between 7:30 - 8:00. Now I certainly am not an expert, but I think a 3 year old needs more than 9-10 hours of sleep a night! So, today he layed down for "quiet time", and he slept for 2 glourious hours. Even though, I have report cards to finish, laundry to do, and a house to clean, I too lay down and napped! We both woke up different people. It is amazing how much happier we both are. Now if only I can get my first grade class to nap every day, I would be all set!

Not Much Has Changed

Keeping this blog, is very much like keeping a journal for me. I love to do both, but for some reason cannot keep up with them! I have good intentions, then life gets the best of me.
So...the weight loss journey also has not changed much. I did so good the first month, like I always do, then I get my period and I go out of control. Now, two weeks later I can't get back on track.

This past week has been my vacation week. Any week that I am not at work is a rough week for me. We snack more, eat more crap and not enough fruit and veggies. I need to get back to tracking. Writing down everything that goes in my mouth is very helpful. But much like writing a journal, life gets in the way and...

So....Sunday begins a new week where I vow to track and stay within my points. Just remember change is good!
