Assessments

This week I completed all the assessments in my class...it has taken 2 weeks away from my regularly scheduled first grade program!

I don't mind the reading assessments - I use them and they are valued in helping me group children by their needs. The other assessments...

This weekend I will be spending time scoring math and word assessments....entering data onto a spreadsheet...oh and planning my week. If I am lucky I will get to spend a few hours with my family.

Who says teachers get a break!!!!

At least next week, thankfully, I will be back to my regularly scheduled first grade program!
