Just one??

Just one snow day - not a delay - a SNOW DAY! I hate delays living so far away from work. I go to work my normal time anyway. By the time I get the phone call that school is delayed I am showered, dressed, and have one foot out the door. Today I decided to go sit at a diner and enjoy a yummy breakfast. I corrected paper instead of reading a magazine - but it was nice. Still...I would rather be home in my jammies baking cookies:)

I know, it's nuts. How wimpy is CT anyway? And we heard the trucks on our streets 6 times in 15 minutes around 6:15 a.m.--loud as anything because there was barely any snow to scrape up! Which woke up the kids HOURS before we needed to be anywhere. Drive safely!
